It seems that as soon as I fix something, balance isn't restored until something else breaks.

 

Current problem is the remote central locking. The alarm has its own actuator, which operates on the driver's door. This then triggers the existing central locking for the passenger door.

 

It looks like this actuator is now dead.

 

The alarm was already in the car when I bought it, so I have no idea why they didn't use the existing actuator and since the wiring is already in place, I would rather just replace the dead actuator than molest the factory wiring.

 

Unfortunately I can't find one.

 

It is made by Spal and looks like a Kazoo sized U-Boat.

Does anyone know where I can buy one without buying a complete remote locking kit?

Don't know if it's a Spal mate-but I got one of those knocking about-should do the trick as they are all wired the same! ;)

Thanks mate, managed to find one at a back-street alarm place.

 

Now have a fully working Z (well amost)
