Took the car for a spin this afternoon for the first time in months!

It started up first time and apart from the noisey lifters which soon disappeared (as usual when cars been sitting for so long) it runs perfectly. Speedo doesn't work because of a dodgy speed sensor but it was like that before all the work was done so no surprise.

Non of new belts screeched, don't know if thats a good thing.

For some reason now though its idling at 1200rpm even though it idled perfectly at 700ish for first 10-15 mins

A list of all the work done...

Upgraded autobox oil cooler

Smithy's Fuel Line Kit

Smithy's Illuminated SS Kick Plates

Unorthodox Racing Pulley Set

Koyo Radiator

AMZ Front Strut Brace

Rear Strut Brace

D2 RS Racing Coilovers

Powertrix Adjustable Front Camber Arms

Powertrix Adjustable Tension Rods

Stillen ARBs

Stillen HICAS Eliminator

Aluminium Intake Pipes

AMZ Aluminium Radiator Pipes

Overflow bottle relocated

PTU relocated

HICAS removed

AC removed

Carbon Canister removed

Timing belt, water pump, thermostat etc... replacement

Huge thanks to chunk, mickeyb, JD, jock, srrae and others who answered my ridiculous questions and helped me get everything done.

Just need to get rear arms fitted and 4 wheel alignment done to finish off the suspension

YAS

well done Yaseen - looks like all that hard work's paid off!

Oh yes, the ride is pretty harsh but iv acheived exactly what i have wanted to so far. The car handles amazingly, i CAN now chuck it round corners and there is hardly any roll let alone slip. I havnt tried any high speed (over 50mph) testing yet, want to sort out the allignment first.

Well chuffed

Nice one yas. Give yourself a pat on the back :)
