come home last nite after taking the 300 for a spin as i ant used her in over a week anyway

 

sat at a set of lights seen a astra cab come along side me

 

knew he was gona boot it, so i jsut kept along side him, just playing

 

he was ragging his poor car to beat me, hit a nice but of dual carriage way and opened her up just blowing him away completly

 

why do people race cars like this in sumthing like that??

Very true but is it worth doing it, have the same with all the boy racers in there saxos and novas screaming there engines away when your just cruising, why bother racing them onlky bother when theres something that would give you a challenge :D

what a fookin idiot. im sure some (most) of them do it just to get you to fly off so they can see how fast the car is.

OK, the conclusion I have come to as to why these muppets race us is because.

 

If you are a boy racer what would you rather tell your mates that you raced and lost to? a proper car i.e a 300, supra etc etc or a pocket rocket i.e. saxo's, civics etc etc

 

Personally I know what I would rather say I lost to!!!! :rolleyes:

 

But hey just a theory, it could just be that they really do think that they stand a chance!! :nono:

I used to have an Astra Cabriolet actually (MK3)...but I managed to shoehorn a V6 engine into it, so was a little faster than your average Astra.

 

But that's in the past........
