Used Car Roadshow - Men and Motors

 

Did a feature on Modified cars, and how little they can be done modified for.

 

Blue 300zx with Lambo doors, 19" Alloys, Viper rear Spoiler, 3.1 litre Conversion, custom leather retrim, full ICE build.

 

Owner has something to do with company called Knightsbridge Performance?

 

Paid £1200 for car :eek: , spent a further £6k modifiying it. Turned down cash offer of £15k on it.

I didn't see it but someone offered 15K and he turned it down?

thats nearly an 8k profit. Fool! :headvswal He should have just sold it and built another one if he liked it that much. 8k profit is alot of wonga

I've seen this car at a couple of the shows and it's a very nice example. Not sure if all of the decals actually reflect what's on the car though ;)

 

Spotted the programme as well, but I was in a bar at the time :D Owner looked like a right pikey - get a fooking haircut :rofl:

Whats been done otherwise to the inside? turned down 15k? surely its not worth anywhere near that unless its either a new year or had some serious engine fiddling. Shiny outsides is all very well but I'd expect a very strong, probably new engine for that sort of money. Dave

It did look very nice.

 

It actually said that he valued it at about £10k, but he refused an offer of £15k that same day.

as for the 15k offer there are people out there who will pay that :bow:

while at a car show with chris getgreddy we had a bloke begging to sell our cars to him and he looked like he had the cash offered me 10k on the spot and will come back later with cash :shock: i dont know how much he offerd for chris car but we both said no!!!! he may of been full of s**t but looking at the amout of gold he had on he may of well had the cash

had a hell of a lot of work done on it, and low mileage

i think it was a bloke from one of the mags it featured in that offered him 15 k

if it was down to money. he probably would have sold it

BUT he doesnt have the time to start again, and it is kind of his signature car for the company.

hes thinking of having it resprayed some radical colour for next years shows

well worth 15k IMHO.

lets be honest, what else can you buy for 15k (a new mondeo ????)

the guy with the knightbridge car was the same assclown that entered and won the show and shine at wakefield earlier this month. the car is not driven is paid for by his company and has had far more than the £6k spent on it so how it can be used in a tv feature to show how cheaply you can mod a car then yet again its wrong.

the lambo kit alone is over £1250 not to mention the full respray chrome rims complete custom leather interior engine work it seems to me that this guy has a complete inability to tell the truth and let the REAL cars show how good they are

my bro spent over 20 large ones to finish something someone allready spent 10k on .one year or glory trophys ect in all mags .i think car ended up in USA for 18k.

a car like anything else is only worth what someoneis willing to pay for it
