Sat at work....in which I have a whole 2 weeks. Nil motivation other than the thought that I'm getting my Zed on Friday.

 

Boss hasn't paid me for last week. So sent him a snotty email earlier...no response.

 

Still not sure if this cheque will clear on Friday for me to be able to collect the Zed.....if not, then I have to wait till Monday!! I want to go to the meet on Sunday as well....let's just hope it does clear. 5 working days, paid in on Monday...in theory, should be cleared by Friday.

 

Knowing my luck...something will go wrong.

Fingers crossed. Check bank today, may have cleared already.

 

If you have any problems, I can pick you up sunday for the meet.

Yeah, kinda like christmas, although this is beginning to do my head in now. One thing after another.

 

I checked the bank earlier and it's still not in my account. Can it take less than 5 days then from date of payment?

I paid a cheque in saturday, and its showing today..3 working days. Although that was a business account so not sure if thats different.

 

You could always Start ordering a few bits for her today, it always feels good zed shopping :)

Dave (Legrath) I've already ordered clear indicators to match the clear corners. So that should be here relatively soon. I think I'm going to go for J-spec lights as well at the end of the month. :)

Sorry to be mr doubt, but my bank want five CLEAR banking days, which means paid in Monday, then Five days Tues,Wed,Thur,Friday, Mond and collect Tuesday.

Jusst hope your not with my bank the Naff west.

I HATE CHEQUES

Mine is natwest to, as above.

Well, I just called my Father....he may lend me the money for the weeks that the cheque may take to clear.....waiting for a response.

 

Looks like business and personal banking have different time frames then for cheque clearance.

why do cheques take so long to clear? Is it purely the banks making interest on the 5 days you cant touch it or is it because of something else. Im surein switzerland or sweeden its not illegal for a cheque to take more than 60 seconds or something silly to clear
