I have a 94 Twin Turbo auto and have just had a replacement engine fitted. The engine was bought in the UK but I think brought in from Japan -its second hand.
Frm the moment the engine was fitted the autobox started playing up ie refusing to go into top and if aftyer some playing with the accelerator I did get it into top it would change down again at irregular intervals irrespective of the speed eg at 70 mph.
The other thing I noticed is that while the OD light comes on when i flick the button out it doesn't change -there is no audible click and no change at all in the revs .
Can anyone suggest where to start I have checked the auto box oil which looks fine . the garage which fitted the engine doesn't have a computer to plug into the diagnostics anyone know who could do this in central Scotland ?
