Hi,

Have done a quick search and it seems to suggest the PTU (It's still a series 1!!)

I have lost spark to the 3 cylinders on the passenger side.

Anyone gota PTU I can bowrrow pretty please? (I'm in Hampton/Richmond area).

Best regards.

while youre waiting for a replacement ptu - just check the wiring either side of it to see if its come loose (unless theyre clamped or tied down they can be knocked out/loose dead easy). also a wet air filter can cause similar symptoms.

First of all check that the N/S coil pack earth connector is still attached to the plenum. It bolts onto the plenum between the coil pack on pot 6 and the bulk head.

If thats been left off or the wire has snapped off the ring connector then your PTU will be Fooked.

If its OK then take the PTU off and clean all the corrosion of the PTU pins and the PTU loom plugs.
