Hello there people, First off I'd like to apologize for the delay with stickers and so on. I have had a lot on my mind for the last few months wth personal problems and moving house etc.

 

Anyway I'm back now and in the process of getting back up to date and sending out the stickers etc. I am now making a list of names to send stickers to, if you can can you please put your names down on here and it will make my life so much easier.

PM'd mtl in April May and August, all still un-read. May not win any pals this way mate. Whats the point of asking members to PM when they are not even read. Common courtesy would dictate at least visiting the mailbox at least once in five months. Why did no one step forward to take over to help him out if there were difficulties- this has upset a lot of people and its no way to carry on. Lets see a rapid improvement in membership packs and responses. Im sure it can all be sorted out, but what a shambles. :smash:

sorry i have to disagree, at no point in the terms of payment or anywhere else on this site has it been stated under a terms or rules of subscription that stickers are a freebie, if so then this must also carry onto the keyrings.

 

if the stickers are not part of the subscription fee then this is something that must be pointed out clearly to the new subscribers in some form af a terms or ruels of subscription.

Then please post on here stating that you've subscribed and whether you require internal or external stickers.

 

People renewing their subscription will be sent a Z keyring on request.

 

 

the whole point of any club is to promote itself for other likeminded people to join, now one of the best ways is to actually be an owner, the other thing is to have some form of promotional material, by putting the stickers on our cars we are also promoting a club that we help to pay for, in return helping likeminded people find a club that can offer all the info and help they need.

 

now the stickers may seem like a trivial thing but to some as far as they are concerned it shows that they are proud to be a part of the uk's most prestigious car clubs and wish to advertise it as such in their cars.

 

if for one would have liked to have recieved the stickers, as yet i have not, and do not see myself recieving them in the near future either.

 

however the basis of my previous post is fully grounded in such as the number of new subscribers as shown that they still have not recieved their stickers, or keyrings.

 

i love this club and its great to have something to be a part of other than working day in day out. but lets just get the basics right, the club and forum is fine , just need to sort the simple things out.

can you post some internal stickers for me too please. Subscribed just before JAE and have recieved nothing in the way of a welcome pack. Im proud to be a member of a club as helpfull as ours, just would be nice for the club to make your new members feel like there are part of a team.

this club is worth way more than its 20quid membership, people who have used it for information and also used its traders have saved 100's and 1000's in what would have been otherwise wasted money.

 

yes there have been problems with stickers, but people don't realise that we have had 2 previous people undertaking the task that mat is doing now, he has an absolute mammoth task in sorting out the mess he has been left and sorting out procedures for the future,

 

there are some damn helpful people in this club and mtl is one of them, the bloke has helped out lots of members rebuilding their cars and removing engines and its actually a difficult task to make him take money for it.

 

you may not have received a few stickers yet but you have received all the other resources the club has to offer.

the stickers are insignificant compared to the valuable/priceless information and help supplied in this site. The money the members of this club have saved me, by stopping me making stupid/expensive mistakes, totals WAY more than £20, so if I get my internal stickers, I'll be glad, if not big deal, but this is the last you'll hear from me about the matter, and should you need it Matt, my offer still stands for any help I can provide you in the future mate.

I don't dissagree with this at all, the club has been one of the best resources and sources of help in the past and will be in the future. It won't stop me from continuing to subscribe becuase of a key ring, but overall satisfaction can become tainted by the smallest of things, as anyone in the service industry will know. But sometimes its the small things that count to many people, as it shows up whether people really care about thier support or not, broadly speaking stickers and fobs do not matter that much but it has become an expectation that has not, for many, been fullfilled, its about belonging and being proud to belong to a club that serves its members well. which on the whole it does and very well indeed. The devil they say, is in the detail. Now i'll go and get a cup of tea and not post on this subject again.
