If he did you - put a complaint in to the PCA (Police Complaints Authority), explain how you were scared he was trying to force you off the road, sped up to get away etc etc... copy the letter to local rag and anyone else that will listen. If you were doin that to someone, you'd be lookin at dangerous drivin!

Exactly - this behaviour from m-way piglet is inexcusable IMO.

 

It should be treated like "Entrapment" in criminal cases and non-admissible as evidence in court.

When somebody does that to me i just anchor on the brakes, soon stops them doing that.

Just get a flamer kit and let rip - They won't do that again when you've completely nuked their front bumber...

As for slamming ya anchors on :nono: this is deemed as dangerous driving which is more of an offence than speeding :nono: not good advice bud :x:

Now I dont have any issues against the Police at all,I have worked along side them for many years however..................................

There used to be a Black unmarked Omega that did something similar a few years back where I used to live. They would stop at traffic lights next, and rev the engine to instigate a race...then nick you if the "victim" then went for it !

 

and I slam on the brakes if anyone is like that behind me...if it ever landed you in trouble you just mention the cat/dog/giraffe that ran out in front.

that's same as puttin' undercover police whore bitchin' slags on the corners and wait for the prey. Fare cop, it was a "Vectra" ..............Not that I agree with unmarked plod. We all look out for them and don't look at the road ahead as we are all looking for unmarked plod with his little book out. Sad...........Is that a good thing?

What you may not realize is someone else may have complained and if they get enough complaints he will get promotion to a proper speed freak and be allowed to do 150 MPH when he feels like it.

 

Video the tw@ with your phone. you probably get nicked for that aswell tho'.

When you get the summons make sure you attend court. Police must record everything they say and you should get a lawyer to put the fekker on the stand and quiz him about it.

 

If you can prove he deliberately drove like a twat to "make you take the bait" you may get let off.

Appreciate the heads-up, znut :) I've been sucked in by the same kind of behaviour on the twisties of the A6. It's especially bad in the dark - the bright headlights filling the rear view blind me to any sign it's a cop, and make it feel even more threatening. I'm a short guy in a low car, and I have enough difficulty peering through the steering wheel without the whole cockpit being floodlit :'(
