Well the car is booked into the MOT station on Saturday morning  , I was just wondering what are the most common things the zx fails on (not that I expect a fail - obviously :nelson: ).

IT PASSED!!!!!

A few advisory notes though, mainly to do with years of being on UK roads. All related to the rear end underneath (including suspension bushes, corrosion on suspension components etc). I think I'll keep an eye out for a good rear subframe and replace the lot over the winter.

Another 12 months of Zedding though :hyper:

Mine has never failed a MOT luckily but I was advised on rear tie rods attached to the Hicas. Swiftly replaced them. I have seen a few Z's with really bad play there causing the rear end to feel a bit skippy. Seems to be a common problem. ;) Good luck

I remember when I bought my first one I tested another one in Bournemouth, a red SWB. The back would suddenly jump when at speed. Not confidence giving (nor was the filthy coolant stains over the bonnet cover!
