I've now got the funds for a respray. I think I want a blue possibly purple or a bit of both. Pearl or flip or whatever. I'm open to suggestions and especially pictures of colours. Help me decide....................please!

Once I did have an Amarantz purple Rover but I think that is too light for the Z.

I visited the place where mine is being sprayed today, they have got around to getting some spray on the car.

Here is a pic of the place where your door catch is (drivers side)

bit dirty and dusty and pic taken with phone in direct sunlight.

He has only managed to spray the inside bits upto now..........

Should get it back before the end of the week. :)

Was thinking along those lines myself leaning towards a nice blue, however there seems to be a few like that now. I still love the factory 3 stage pearl white but once I get my wide arch fitted I'm going to get her sprayed in a Cadilac Escalade factory colour. Still white but with some amazing flip/pearl thing going on. You got to see it in the flesh to apreciate it.

 

Lots of pictures on the net of different colours, best to be sure before you invest all that money. It is a personal choise after all ;)

Anyone got these colours on cars with pics or links to similar colours?

I'm in exactly the same boat mate and all I can say is, whatever colour you eventually decide to go with, make sure you take your car to Steve at Bodywork Plus (trader on here). Seriously, I have NEVER seen such quality of work anywhere else, and that's the truth. Like you, I'm going for a full colour change respray and TBH I wouldn't trust my beloved Zed with anyone else! (Plus...and I can't go into detail as I don't want to jinx anything as it's not finalised yet...but Steve's got some VERY exciting things in the pipeline regarding paint...you guys on here will be one of the first to hear about it if it all goes to plan ;))

I know distance can be a problem...but the reputation he has amongst the exotic/classic community for quality work means that he's had customers bring their cars from as far afield as Holland to be sorted by him ;)

Im in exactly the same position...considering a complete colour change, and searching for examples (and keeping my eye out on the road), as I change my mind on the colour everyday.

 

some sort of Blue...an orange...candy red....a special silver.....Ahhhhh

I'm now thinking of going from showroom to showroom trawling through various new car colours as the internet is a bit poor for this kind of searching.
