Hi,

Just cleaning the car, and found an APEXI AFC under the car mat. It's got a setting dial on the right side -6 to +6, at the mo its on the +3 setting. Would it be best if I set it to 0 or just leave it on +3?

Thanks Blackmagic, as you can tell im new to all this. Does anyone know what the settings do?

I could only assume it would alter the air/fuel ratio....

I wouldnt fiddle with it though...lol

Hey that the same one....Where did you find that?

No the first one mate!

Apex Air flow controller go to http://www.apexi.com then go to usa site the left one then go to support tech q+a then installation manuals and you should find the one you have i hope this helps. I have an apex super A.F.C. 2 and i have no idea how to work it i leave it to interpro :D :D

I think I leave the sttings alone! Best not touch it!

lol...Google bud :duffer:

and yes...best not to touch it :duffer:

the Apexi AFC or SAFC (Airflow Controller) will modify the intake reading to allow you to adjust (i believe) the richness of the mixture. always best to leave to the experts as if you fook about with it you can run mega rich, or even worse... mega-lean... BANG!

AFAIK theyre not so effective on the Z - more popular on Mitsis
