does anyone know any programs (easy to use)

to get cd to mp3 and vise versa

also any good free sites to get music from

used to till they got shut down or people stopped using them cos of the crack down

 

winmx used to be my favorite but search for any bit torrent type program

for ripping cds to mp3s

Audiograbber like suggested above will do it, also Windows XP and media player 9 and 10 (and I think 8) will copy MP3s to a CD to play as a normal CD.

I think you need a plug in to get media player to do straight mp3's. It does wma by default which is almost the same but has extra bits (rights management and stuff?) and wont play on many mp3 players. I use 'easy CDDA' which does a good job. If you want a copy I can try posting it on sendfile or whatever. It might be mega slow for me though cause I'm on dial up at the moment.
