Ok heres the story............... yeah yeah bet u can all imagine the sounds of a harp as i recall it, ANYWAY........ before i bought this 300 (my second) i had an advanced check by the AA. The guy couldnt fault the car and said if i was looking for a 300 ZX then this was the one to buy. BONZAI!!!! Last week i had it serviced and had a general health check... all pipes hoses fuelling- basically everything on the car and it cost me a fair bit. Im currently running 14 psi boost at the moment and have a lot of performance enhancing mods. My cars running a tad over 400 bhp at the mo. Coming home 2 nite and giving her a bit of stick with my mate in his MR 2 turbo giving chase (hairdressers car!!!!) anyway my zed has been known to chuck out the odd flame here and there when shes getting a good runting but tonight he said it was ridiculous!!!! He was keeping away cos he didnt want to fry his paint!!! WTF is going on and ive only just had it checked, also when i got home it didnt smell right, wasent my clutch and there are 0 oil leeks on my engine. The engine has only done 15k!!! Although flames look cool sometimes this is taking the piss!

That is strange mate,I remember a few years ago,I had flames coming out the rear on my bike GSX1100 and it was the timing,Is the timing OK?

fast and furious style

Speaking of Fast and Furyious. It came today, YIPEE!. Determined to find a Z in it some where

Flames might be cool but the engine is not supposed to do it. Flames and fuel are supposed to stay inside the cylinder where they make power. Burning fuel in the exhaust pipe makes zero power. Timing is probably off or maybe an exhaust valve is stuck/broken.
