My street shows a house purchased in April this year.

Looking good for me though - we paid £44k, worth about £150k now (5½ years on) :nana2: :nana2:

No worries, did you find The Big Mac Palace? :p

Yes the fookers made over 30k on my old house when they sold it a few months later :mac1:

Peach - don't be silly, you weren't born 5.5 years ago, nevermind old enough to buy a house!!

Our nextdoor neighbour paid £35k more than us, but 1.5years afterwards

thats cus no one wants to live near you,

no privacy anymore, soon your be abel to find out the size of your next door neighbours dick on here. :xxx:

Excellent link. I've made about 60K in four years which aint bad.

There's no such thing as privacy any more though.

I've just sold the 1st house I bought for 100K more than what I paid! Should have the money in about a week :hyper: Just hope I don't spend it all the week after lol.

Im up about 85k in 5 years!! Woohooooooo! :D

cool mines made £59,000 in 3 years. not bad. hmmmmm what car can i buy for that, better get home and ship the wife and kids out.

When I sold my last house, I'd brought it from new 2 years earlier, I made £79,000, not a bad profit for 2 years :D

I wonder what I'll make on this one?

The thing is unless you are going to move into a Council house then really have you made any money?

Your house may have gained £50K os so but then all the other houses have gone up too so the money you have made is only going to be spent on the new abode? Unless you take the money and emigrate. which is exactly what I would do, For sure.

How true. I may have made 60K on my house but in order to move into a bigger house I now need to find 100k more than I would have before. I would much rather have made 5k on my house and paid a lot less to trade up.

Exactly - I have just had an offer (at fekking last) on mine for more than double what I paid for it 7 years ago, should i accept it. But I'll have to spend all that on my next house.

Still at least I'll have a £250k house with only a £50-60K mortgage though.....

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
