Not tried the hardware but it appears to be the same as what is widely sold out of Australia/New Zealand, namely a cheap cable and even cheaper software. The datascan software is a very amateur bit of software which intermittently works on a variety of Nissans. Buyer beware: you get what you pay for.

On the other side of the spectrum is our professionally designed and thoroughly tested ConZult. This bit of quality kit will allow you to perform ALL diagnostics, check and clear ECU error codes, clear the self-learn parameters, datalogging, power balance tests, solonoid tests, real-time sensor feedback, TPS and base idle resetting, timing and fueling tweaks, etc. Plus you get a proper user manual and full support. It's a fair bit more expensive at £265 but you do get something that is even better than Nissan's own Consult. As a matter of fact there are several Nissan franchise garages in the UK and Scotland which use our ConZult rather than Nissan's £8k Consult.

I have the Data Scan and it's a great piece of kit, it also has speed trial so you can test 0-60 or above! The most impressive thing is the data logging software that you can buy with it, great to see what your engine is doing over a run.
