just done a return trip to middlesborough experiencing the joys of the M1 on a friday afternoon and got just on 300 miles out a full tank of fuel from a twin turbo...is that about right?...sometimes stretching the speed limit bit !!! alot of the tme sat in bloody queues !!!!

Yeah that sounds reasonable. I get slightly worse than that on average but with lots of low-speed driving.

 

With careful motorway driving I get about 24mpg, but I've never had the joy of using a whole tank that economically! :D

 

It depends on petrol too. Optimax adds about 50 miles to a tank I reckon.

That's very good, I can get around 280 from a long m-way run but I can't seem to keep it much below 1@@ mph ;)

Don't know what it is per gallon (can't remember how many litres to a gallon!) but I consistantly pay £1 per 5 miles. Probably 50-50 hard driving and taking it easy.

The fuel economy is a lot better in this Zed than my last. This one has the apexi air fuel computer which makes quite a difference in improving economy.

A tank of Optimax cost me over £64 last week - the light had just come on before I drove onto the forecourt.

 

These cars take 70 litres IIRC, so at 94ppl that's..........quite a few pounds ;)

Exactly - feck the fuel consumption and enjoy the car for what it is.

 

I don't care how much I spend on fuel - at the end of the day if I wanted economy I'd have bought a diesel ;)

wuwhoo me too, ive actually worked it out once at 8 mpg, but that was when my tps was fooked.

the zeds are heavy enough without fitting lpg, leave it as it is, you cant improve on perfection
