I know this has been posted about before, and I have looked but could do with some up to date specific advice. I'm considering a big brake conversion and saw an old thread mentioning the brembo F50 kit. Does anyone know where they can be bought and the EXACT models I'd need for the zed. I saw 360mm (I've got 18's),is this ok? Also looking at hispec mega monsters, same question. I don't know much about the dimensions that I need to look for so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance ,Dave   :nana2: :nana2:

edit: Any other makes also. I'd like to see some photos on the cars.

Nice one. Just been looking on http://www.gt-culture.com/ and they do endless ones, very expensive. Think they do normal gtr brembos as well, waiting for an answer. Definately need some better brakes. How does the stopping power of brembos and endless compare to hispec as they are a lot cheaper? does anyone know? Are you paying for the brand or the stopping power?

The hispec ones i got were more expensive than the brembo/movit porsche 993 kit i could get my hands on.

Also the brembo calipers are painted while the hispec's are anodized.

If you really want awsome stopping power go for an ap racing 6pot Peter Nendels hat got one for sale.

Whos peter nendels?

Peter MAD JUN nendels also known as the man who was banned by the nissan patrol club

No serious he's a member on here and he's nickname is nend , but he's on holiday now.

They look great, thanks for the good phot. I've been looking at their website. I take it they are the ones advertised for the skyline? How much were they?

Dave

1.5K for the complete kit mate, however even though they are meant to fit 18" wheels, which i have, we had to get 5mm machined off the height of the disc to fit inside my Antera's and leave the required few mm space between caliper and inside of rim. They also do a 343mm version if needed.

cheers

Are your anteras the same as mine? Do you mean you got it machined yourself or the company did it?

Dave

I had them machined myself as it was quicker and easier, a local machine shop who do this sort of thing all the time done em for me for 30 quid the pair.

No think my antera's being many years old and no longer made would be different mate.
