Hi all

After sodding around with the wiring loom on my Zed for ages trying to cure an intermitant misfire i've decided that it probably needs a new one. A local company i have approached may be interested in making these looms up if they can guage interest.

If anyone thinks they could do with a new engine loom just put your name down and I'll pass the number on.

I dont have a price yet and you won't be committing to anything, They just need to see if its worthwhile sourcing all the connectors and stuff.

I think someone on here does some connectors, maybe thats just the injector ones. Nissan looms are £400 so if they do a good job could be worthwhile. Bugger to fit mind.

Don't worry. Cost a factor for me too.

Anyone else interested?

I reckon they will need ten interested people before they invest, although i spoke to them today and they have 75% of the connectors sourced already.

I reckon the ECU connectors gonna be the bitch. But hats off to them so far.

ecu connector wont need replacing, its the buggers under the bonnet cause they get damp and corrode

Maybe not, but you wouldn't want to splice 50 wires into that and it may be very difficult to get the metal spring contacts to replace the intenals.

I think most people would want a direct replacement.

Removing your existing one for repair would mean your car being offroad for a while.

A bit of a no no.
