Anyone ever Changed the colour of there Zed?

What did you have done ? eg: just outside of car, outside and all inner shut's and exposable under panels?

Thinking of Changing the colour of mine to a lighter brighter colour and i used to be a sprayer/mechanic so just want to know what other's have done or had done to their Zed so i can get some idea's for mine :)

Yep its a crap colour and is so lifeless, but the Bayside blue is too bright for the Z and just doesn't look right.

 

What about a deeper blue with a bright mid blue flake. So it has that two tone effect. Wheel centres in the same colour and bright chrome dishes.

 

Would look stunning in a custom African Violet metal flake with gold wheel centres and chrome dishes. Tahts how my next Z will look. It going to be a SWB T Top with a supercharged 5.7 small block ally V8.

 

But that project won't start until the winter off 2006

I took my front bumper and Both front wing's and you just would'nt believe how much Mud and leave's and all other muck get's to build up at the bottom of the Wing???? :eek: :shock:

Now i know of this i will occasionally unbolt the bottom of my wing's every now and then and wash all the muck out otherwise the panel's will start to rot!!!

Not just the bottom of the wing but also the sill return..... :( .it's only a matter of loosening two 10mm bolt's each side :)

I have the same paint as stevemochan sat in my garage 3 liters you can have it for 50notes delivered ;) .

This went into the sprayers on saturday still lots of prep work to do (I just kept looking at it smoking and thinking 'how the fook am I gonna do this' :o

going for an orange undercoat with yellow pearl topcoat :confused:

I think I will end up liking it anyway :rofl:

Okeydokey, I'm trailering it tomorrow so I'll take a few of pics when we get it outside, there should be a couple on my camera already but the damn things eaten its batteries again so I'll have to find some when I get up.
