Hmm thats serously shiny. I want some. Anyone used the autoglym stuff. I've got a very nice pack of shampoo, polish, interior shampoo and glass polish free with my subscription to jtuner magazine.

Dave

ive just started using meguirs gold class shampoo and tech wax. Not impressed though. Leaves nasty big smears everywhere

Thats cause your Zeds black! my old one took ages to clean like that. Had to make sure I'd got all the shampoo off and dried it thoroughly. Took feeckin ages.

TOP TIP: if you don't do this already, when you've finished waxing your car get a clean soft cloth and use an old spray bottle filled with water. Spray a very light mist on the car and rub in/off with the cloth.

I was using Zymol and just bought a bottle of Meguiars Gold and personally think the Zymol is better so I am going back to that next time.

in the words of Phil. "whale oil beef hooked" Its about 50/50 then. I have always used "MER" But it seems technology has come a long way. But is MER not still the best all round polish? I found if you use it on a damp cloth or lightly wetted surface the paint will look like glass. I am always up for a change tho' Maybe a poll should be posted?

Would be interesting considering the amount of time spent polishing the beast.

i love the stuff and i get loads from car shows as i keep winning it :p

Mark from Outlander in the traders section does it - thats where I get mine from

I used some Meguiars Quik Clay to get my paintwork nice and smooth like glass. Then applied AutoGlym Resin Polish and then waxed with Meguiars Tech Wax.

Came up really well, everyone has mentioned it but not had chance to take some photos. Will try this weekend. :D

MER is pretty easy to use but I haven't used it since I had my black Supra - it was fekking lousy on that as it left smears everywhere on the black paintwork. It did Julia's electric-blue Corsa OK though but I use Autoglym and Turtle Wax red wax on the ZX.

Autoglym does a fine job on my black Rav-4 too.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
