NICE CLEAN ENGINE?? YOU MUST BE JOKING!!!

Anyone know the best way to get the zeds engine nice and sparkly again??? I would have guessed steaming it would be god darn crazy but wondered if anyone had any ideas!??

Luke - those will be polished stainless pipes most likely, not anodised or coated in any way..

 

However, anodising can be made heat/harsh environment-safe, it's just a different process. An anodising specialist should be able to help you on that one better than I can though - there is some good information on http://www.hard-anodising.co.uk

(FWIW, my underdrive pulley is anodised, not quite as hot as being next to a turbo though smile.gif)

NO nO NO weirdo. Im talking about the anodized "BLUE" intake manifold.

OK so I misread your message (and didn't notice the blue manifold).. But there's no need to call me a weirdo..

 

And anyway - the information about anodising still applies..
