The people they had on that show were divs, even Mr Quentin Wilson was talking crap (lol) saying a Ferrari Enzo is ugly and that the Lambourghini Countach was as well... saying it was too macho! lol The Mclaren F1 is too unaccesible... uhhh yeah that's where desire comes from... and putting a Mazda MX-5 at Number 2? WTF?!?!?!

There was the Nissan Skyline, Aston Martin DB5, E-Type Jag, Corvette StingRay, Porsche 911 and that old Merc with the gull-wing doors.

 

As has been said by Kay a load of crap was spouted forth.

Since most of the contributors seemed to be American I expected that kind of crap.

 

After all, what do the Yanks know about building a sports car. They never go above 60mph and couldn't turn a corner if their next meal depended on it........

 

Still, as much as it is not my choice of car, the Pork 911 is a worthy winner simply for its past heritage, current performance and pedigree etc.

 

I reckon the E-type should have been no 2 though....

My missus's dad had an e-type that he restored. He said it was an utter nightmare handling wise.Dave
