Would you consider opening a video links forum?

 

2 sub categories, Z related and Non Z related (other car, humor etc..)

 

I'm sure other people have loads of vids like me who would like to share them.

great idea mate for videos ll get my video camera ready BUT it costs more for them to host it as they need more megabytes so maybe if they want we all send in 2 pounds per month we could have hundreds of vidoes inc porn lol

How about we just link 'em to your site, you seem to have unlimited bandwidth ? (Until they catch you anyway! lol)

it would be doable, but would have to run the server in the states, where i get 2000gig of transfer for like 50quid a month, it will be possible in the future in the UK, as a company we are reviewing our services shortly and may offer bandwidth at cheaper rates. (means installing lower grade bulk suppliers along side our preimium network)

Mike and 300zx fanatic, what I meant was just a links forum. The videos are hosted externally. This would be to save you guys the cost and trouble of organising another server to accomodate the videos.

Which is kinda what I said, I think. I'm ok with doing it this way. Right now I don't think we want to spend £50 per month on hosting videos.

 

How many links are we talking about ? This could be done a really low tech way, by you maintaining a list of links in a sticky post.

Andy, have a look at UJCC, they have a video links page that members start a thread off and post a link. Simple way of doing it, and wouldn't have thought it would use up any significant web space.
