Just wondered what the general thoughts are about these fast and furious style spoilers on Zeds. Good or Bad??

 

If anyone has one on thier car, please post pic, so i can see for myself.

Yeah, but what do the Dark Side know - they've got the wrong colour cars for a start :p

ABSOFOOKINLUTELY. Hit the nail on the head there mate. I saw an EVO 6 with one on in Bedford a while back that looked just stupid. and a bloke down the road from me put one on a Vectra? :rofl:

Very rarely see them look anything other than gash.

 

But occassionaly, done right, they look ok. But not just bolted ontot a standard car.

IMHO chucking a great big whale fin on the back is just as sad as these rubbish replica cars on ebay we take the piss out of for trying to be something they are not.

 

That kind of thing is for track, and then you need it wind tunnelled to get it to do the job properly cos most after market spoilers will do the opposite of what they are designed to and "unbalance" a car if not setup.

 

Only time I could say tis ok would be maybe if Macca at TOTB decided he needed one due to the speeds he WILL be doing!

i saw a nice Honda S2000 with a huge wing on the back, what a waste of a car! those spoilers aught to stay on Novas/Corsas/Saxos! :)

I agree, the most important thing to keep in mind when fitting a spoiler, unless you want UPforce and play lotto with your health.IMO

Nasty nasty nasty. Fast and furious has a lot to answer for IMHO, the increased numbers of cars with nasty graphics and stickers up the sides is growning at an alarming rate as too are those awful spoilers. All should be consigned to a bin.

 

Each to their own though, I think they are awful.

I thought this one looked quite good, but I'm probably biased seeing as how it's the best colour for a Zed and all... :p heh heh

 

 

But here's a good exapmle of how I see it;

 

Exhibit a;

 

 

Absolutely Stunning, car does 231 mph with just a small aerodynamic wing that comes into play at speed.

 

Exhibit b;

 

LM version, looks shite IMO. That wing on the back just makes it look tacky really.
