Had a near heart attack yesterday. I was stuck in start stop traffic for 30mins and the car in front stopped just as I was looking around (my fault I know!). I threw the anchor out the window but still made contact with his tow bar. AHHHAHHH NNNNOOOO!!!! Despite the sickening sound there was hardly any damage as the 99spec front flexibility took the impact. Just a small patch of cracked paint which hopefully will be a cheap sort out. Anyway my indicators stopped working of all things. Not the bulbs as the warning lights still flashed, my main beam still goes on and so does my main flash . 1hr later they worked again!!. Now the next day they've stopped again.

Presumably its a loose wire or plug or something. Any ideas as I havnt got much access to diagrams and ammeter until tomorrow when i go back to Plymouth.

Thanks Dave :nana2:

Fair one!! Thanks for the ever so useful comments!!! Keep getting a handful of flies everytime I turn off the motorway though.

Dave, take off the indicator units and make sure that the plugs fit properly. When I fitted my second hand 99 bumper, I got the indicators, but then found out that the old plugs dont fit the newer units. I rectified it by simply bending the pins and forcing the old plug on tight, and its never failed since. Some people just chop the old wiring plug off and bodge somthing else on. Either way its a good place to start.

Cheers mate. Will look at that first thing tomorrow. Sounds very likely as they worked again and then stopped the next day.
