15,000 miles from new and it had another engine???

Every time he puts it on ebay - you get a bit more of the story.

At least he`s starting it off at a sensible price - you never know one day it might even sell!!!Then again I would guess the reserve is about £15,000

And everybody thought it had only done 15k miles.Wonder if he has still got his sheepskin on in this weather.

I refered to this car a while back. Last time I saw it it was going for about £22K. It is being agency sold. Looks like a very nice example tho?

Comes with a few ??????'s

If it has only done 15K why a new engine fitted? ( maybe I missed that bit)

I thought we had found a friend for CJ when I read the number plate, I thought it said Bi dav but alas it says B31 DAV, close enough for CJ?

I still smell a rat this time round like was said new engine when it only had few miles on it? does that mean it wasnt maintained until the last owner?? and as for the extra,s unfortunately these days you never get your money back on them!

15000 miles my arse! He would have to have a ring and acid for sweat to do that much damage to a gearstick in that sort of milage! I've done more than that since I got mine and the gear stick is undamaged ...and it wasn't new when I got it!!

Love the body kit though....

how could you own that for 9 years and have it off the road all that time

especially if theres nothing wrong with it!!!

ok so its nice driveway dressing!! but you would need to drive it at least on weekends wouldnt you???

I said that last time !!! Although I notice he now says "the gearstick was changed with the engine"........why?

I definately smell something with a tuna-like aroma...........

Richard :headvswal

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I reckon he lies like a cheap Naafi rug...

There's a 1998 R-reg with 23,000 miles on autotrader for about £6500.

I don't know if it's TT or NA and it might be a rough one - for that price you'd thnk there's something wrong with it.
