Took 300zx for a test drive today and wondered what the power A/T hold switch actually did.

 

Plus when the car was not in power mode i put my foot down and the POWER light came on on the dash board. It was raining at the time. Is this normal??

 

I found it strange that the engine doesn't turn off emediately :confused: is there a button to push to over ride the turbo timer??

forgot to say, car was mint and the wheels were awsome. It also had HKS coilovers (don't think the trade seller knows)

Power holds it in gear longer before changing up (comes on automatically if you boot it) hold will stop it from changing down for when driving in wet / icey conditions.

Turbo timer - How to disable, depends on which Turbo timer is fitted. As far as Im aware they all offer some way of switching it off.

 

Whats the make and model ? somebody will know
