Documentary..as in 'Super Size Me'? Yeah, got to the stage where, not only did the guy put on rather a large amount of weight, his wife told us that he'd lost his sex drive!!

 

Most McDonalds servants are pretty mentally deficient in one way or another. Dunno who's worse really, the Chavs that frequent the car parks at night times in their 'modded' Fiestas and such like, or the people selling the burgers.

 

Generally at my local, they seem relatively aware of their surroundings, although there is one lad who works at one of the drive through windows and just by speaking to him, you'd wonder how he even got a job there!

Err....if you have a brain and are prepared to use it, then you don't work in MacDonalds (or any other fast food outlet) at a 'serving' level. The job pays peanuts so they get monkeys. The poor dim lot also get a LOT of uncalled for flack and abuse from the great Bristish public who are perfectly happy to go in and talk to them like they are shit, so it's not surprising that they don't give a toss about what they are doing.

 

Some places are better than others, depends on the manager. There are 2 McD's in Hayes, the drive through is fast, efficient, has never got my order wrong and very happy and smiley people there (mostly Eastern Euro), the one on the high street is awful beyond description!! :x:

Yeah Maccy D's was a great stable and healthy diet to be growing up on in my youth and it actually seemed to taste nice a bit like Kentucky Fried Chicken...before it was franchised and sold off and served by numpties!!! KFC my ass, it just doesn't taste the way it used to sorry. ;)

Pay a fiver for a bag of junk food with no nutritional value! Guy on super size me documentory started getting bad mood swings, depression, no sex drive, don't think there was anything he didn't get in fact....oh except herpes! We're trying to grow most of our own food. I'm happy to throttle a few chucks each month if I know how they grew up. Looked in one of those battery hen places once, wasn't nice, and to think you buy them in Tescos. Then I'm going to grow massive pubic hair, buy a caravan and move to Morroco and take psycadelics (and learn to spell)

People are in uproar about how really unhealthy McDonalds are, but they are no more unhealthy as the other fast food joints.

I have seen them, they are discusting and I dont know how they are legal with our animal cruity laws.

Fair one, I try to avoid all of them when possible. I like my fresh scran! besides whats the point of dumping weight out of the Zed if you become a fat boy and can only just get in the seat! :dance:

Talking of locations the one in Catterick , N yorkshire is by far the slowest and worst one out there. Ask Mac he will vouch that!!! :eek:

I'm not surprised, have you seen that documentary series called 'Catterick'? No way in hell I'm going there, seems like everyone in the town is a nutter.

Mcdonals have also changed their Menu's after that programme.

 

No more Supersize option.

Salad options

Porridge and other breakfast options

Wraps with Whole chicken and salad

 

....etc

 

Its still junk food, but its better than it was.
