I think of it like this:- David Beckham is good at football, and he is English. I too am English, but I can't kick a ball for sh1t. Get it? Just cause some knobsucking terrorist scumbag shiteater is Muslim, doesn't mean all Muslims want to kill people.

As previously said, my thoughts are with the families of all those killed and injured, and also with those whose lives will never be the same again because of todays atrocities.

Current reports :

37 Dead

700 Injured (Around 95 Serious, and many still critical)

:(:(:(

Its hard to take in that this time last night we were on here with the usual banter going on about TTs and NAs while a group of people were plotting todays atrocities and innocent people had just hours to live, I truely wish there was some way we could end these things happening. My thoughts go out to all those that were caught up in todays events including the emergency services who did a brilliant job and must have seen some terrible things that they have to deal with tonight when they finally get to sit down.

Couldint agree more with you..........

Its a shame when people dont get along and reduce themselves to this...........life would be alot simpler if everyone got along

Fas

Hooray! they wouldnt need to bomb each other?

As I was brought up in south London through the 60's everyone was still getting over WWII. They hated Germany and everything German? Including the people. Now i wouldn't say they were racists? They were angry. The bombs today were NOT aimed at everyone. They were aimed at the ENGLISH people and Government? It just so happens that other cultures form part of that. (Colateral Damage) But it was aimed at England as was 9/11 at USA. These people are more than likely Muslims. Muslims that hate England America Etc etc and all the people of those nations. Including me and including tvrbd03 and including you? But I havent once heard anyone mention how disgusted you are with them for that. For setting off bombs ,YES! but not for being the real racists in this issue? If you are offended because an Englishman white or black wants to express he's anger at a foriegn race for killing fellow Englishmen and that makes you want to leave this forum. Then all I can say is : GOODBYE? :x: (not aimed at faisal BTW)

Luckily I overslept today. I was supposed to be at Mckesson at 9.15, which is at Russell Square! Felt sick all day, someones watching over me, is all I can say!

I've just heard that alot of hotels in London put their prices up just for last night. How out of order is that. If anything they should have been reduced, what a bunch of w@nkers.

Yep that's just wrong and out of order!!!

Whereas the TFL river bus was not charging the poor people trying to get home. Took my mate 4 hours to get into London from Reading yesterday afternoon when normally it takes him an hour. :(

I work at Number One Aldgate and arrived into work yesterday at 8:45. Funny really, as I travelled to work from my girlfriends' place south of the river, rather than into Fenchurch St as I usually would. The place I normally stop for a cup of tea in the morning is kinda directly opposite Aldgate station.

I'm very thankful to be alive that's for sure. Not so thankful of being secured inside the building for 6 hours afterwards being sat in front of the window watching as they pulled bodies out :(

The streets of the City are pretty much deserted today - it is very eerie. Trains and buses were half empty.

id like to say i cant believe that but there are some heartless moneygrabbing c**** out there that need to be shot - who the **** gives them the right to charge people in a time of need thats ****in disgusting. if i was in london trying to find somewhere to stay id have opened up a can of whoopass on the ****s.

as bad as some of the comments said over this thread have been, that is by far the worst thing ive read. its one thing to be angry and make unnecessary comments against people but to put up prices to make money out of a situation that has killed at least 37 and injured hundreds?

wrong, just wrong.

ive just read the whole thread all the way through (took 20 min) and as angry and upset as people have been a few have missed the point.

my heart goes out to all involved and their families.

londons emergency services (and surrounding counties - i know that crew from essex attended, and crews from kent and sussex were on standby at maidstone) seem to have done a sterling job and should be praised accordingly (even though the home sec decided to 'forget' to thank the fire service), as should the bus drivers etc carrying wounded to hospital.

mr b.liar has once again failed to understand the gravity of a situation that he has shyed away from, his speech (and those of the other house of commons members) was nothing more than paying lip service to the dead and injured. it was left to Ken livingstone to give a few words of someone who sounds like they actually give a shit.

thanks a bunch tony you ignorant ****

sorry for the long post

All for one!! My sis live's in london, her husband was scheduled for a meeting at 11.30 and would of been on the train at kings cross, only a phone call at 10pm the night before postponed it till 2pm and so he had'nt left home.

Many of you in this club are from or around london and so it is much nearer to home for you guy's, but just the thought of Jase being on that train still overwhelm's me now 24 hrs later.

You guy's just stay vigilant, and most of all safe, tragedy can happen at anytime, and i would hate to be leaving condolence's to anymore familie's on here such as Kenny's.

Stay safe guy's....................

The muslims are affraid of being blamed for this. The same thing happened here after 9/11.

After the demonstrations recently by muslims to end the wars. Why cant they now demonstrate against the Bombers. That would without any doubt proove the support and disgust we hear everyone say they feel? After 9/11 there were British muslims in Bedford and Luton publicly announcing the victoy over the enemy. US? the people they now call their friends and neighbours?

without a doubt london the worlds most international city....more mixes of race n religion cannot be found anywhere else on earth...and to be honest its surprising they all get along so well (for most of the time)...once in a while you will get a group or loner who will hate those around them enough to kill them for reasons that TBH aren't easy to comprehend...danger is all around and the cost of getting it down to zero is one we cant afford because the price of that is our freedom...so whilst i wont support any such outrages (as yesterday) committed in any name or ideal i will support those whose opinions differ from mine....because i'm free to walk away or tell them to f off as the situation dictates

We (and more importantly, the Americans) need to think hard about why the people who commit these crimes are so angry.

I do wonder if we really are the good guys - Al Quader cite green issues and believe the western superpowers are mis-managing the world.

I think and hope we are the good guys but I do wonder if someone high up has got their hands in the till and is perfectly prepared to let people die to get more money and power.
