Very stupid question - fuses

Hi All,

Well my stereo bizarrely died early on (couple of hours ago) so I thought I'd check the obvious stuff first (fuses). However... neither of the fuseboxes by the front wings appear to contain the relevant fuse. But apparently there's another fusebox somewhere around the drivers footwell. Question is how on earth do I get to it?

Thanks,

Bart

Right hand side of your right foot is a removeable panel, its in there, and if you look in the FAQ section at top right of this page the diagramm is there for the Jap translation.

Wow, thanks guys. I'm overwhelmed. Once I've figured out what on earth's going on I'll post again.

OK, *NOW* I feel stupid. That's so obvious I can't believe I missed it. For some reason I was thinking it would be behind the back of the footwell same as the ECU (and was therefore dreading the hassle that would follow on from that). The only thing they haven't done to make it slightly more obvious is put a big red neon flashing arrow with the words "Fusebox here you moron!" next to it. Oh well, you live and learn. Thanks again guys.

Just wanted to say thanks for correcting my stupidity, and thanks for the translation info to sideshowbob -- came in very handy I can tell you. Seems like it's not the fuses because they're all in perfect condition... and it mysteriously started working again when I turned on the ignition after checking them. So I did a reset to factory settings on the stereo and will keep an eye on it. The other thing it could be is a loose connection at the back due to a dry solder joint so if it happens again I'll check that.

Cheers guys,

Bart
