Has Any One Got Any Ideas Why My 300 Tt Smokes Out The Passenger Side Exhaust When I Pull Up At Lights Or Junctions

When Its Ticking Over, There Is No Smoke When Driving .

Can Anyone Shed Any Light On The Matter.......

Featured Replies

could be one of a few things pcv valve, turbo oil seal which is most likely or may need a oil change mine smoked changed oil now its ok

The pcv valves arn't too hard to check. The springs go or they get blocked up with gunk. Pull the tube off when the engine is idling and you will hear a hissing as air is pulled through it, also stick your finger over it and it will suck on your finger (vacuum). They are a common thing to go.

yea cheers mate will try them out.......

is there any way of checking the turbo seal,,,any tricks of the trade ?...

any way thanks again.

Not sure how to check the tubs mate, but, i'd definately

have a look @ the pcv's, a common cause of smoking.

You'll need a 'deep' 19mm socket to get 'em off though.
