There has been some more interest in organising a South Coast meet and I am after some ideas on where people would like to get together. Ideally, I'd like us to meet up in groups and convoy to our final destination (like the old Box Hill to Brighton run ;) ). It's also been suggested that we could do a joint meet with the South West members.

Box Hill to Brighton worked really well Steve. Could do that again?

Sounds good James! I forgot to mention, it's a multi choice poll so feel free to select more than one location if you're flexible ;)

Voted Bournemouth, but could do with it in Devon what about the services off the M5 Junction 30 Granada services now called Moto Services. Huge car park loads of pubs near by and its Sunny??

Have chosen Bournemouth as the most westerly option, as it would be great to get a Joint SE and SW meet together.

Will be in touch shortly.

Cheers,

David

Depending on when this is gonna happen, i may just have to take the missus away for the weekend daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhnnn saffffff!!

Oh, and Bournemouth or Brighton is good for me, but Bournemouth would be better to get a fuggin load of Z's together!

if it does end up in bournemouth fellas remember a sat day meet would mean you could stay in town the night and go clubbin in one of the souths leading clubbin towns ect ....yes im also trying to swing the vote lol ;)

Hastings or Brighton would be good when I get my head together, Be glad to get my hair in the wind again, even for a short while.

just a thought but what about portsmouth ,, or haysling island ,, massive car park next to beach .arcades and in one place in particular they have a pub on the beach ,next to a pitch and putt, might suit sw members ,plus its not as far as it sounds ,

i'm in the middle so i'm not to fussed where it is.

brighton is a bit far for the sw lot though isnt it.

Box hill to brighton sounds good i would be up for that..

but would still be up for what ever goes on... this would be the first meet i have been on and i have had the car 1 year 4 months.

plenty of places in brighton, stanmer park would be good.

hastings has to be a no go. there are fook all places to park that allow for a meet without being surrounded by chav's or having to pay huge sums of money.

there is a great pub in between however.....

The starr inn, normans bay (near eastbourne).

multimap -

multimap here

its on a coastal lane parralel with the A27 between bexhill and eastbourne, good parking for approx 30-40 of us, huge beer garden, little sun trap. we use it for sussexcarz meets on sunday lunchtimes, and he does cheap carvery,s for us (£5 for a hooj lunch). i can contact the owner and see if he'll do us the same deal if people are interested???
