So what....are you just getting them from strangers or are your mates sending them to you. I have (unfortunately) seem some real nasties. People that send them to me have been told to stop (mates and the like) I think the snuff ones are the worse. They have given me bad thoughts for days. You have always been able to be arrested if you are in posession of illegal explicit material - which includes (in this country, IIRC), beastiality, snuff, rape, and some hardcore (and the obvious peadophilia material). Doesn't matter whether it's on video, DVD, magazines, photographs, your PC or your phone..

yes got to agree there is some weird shit out there, ive also seen some of these so called hapy slapping videos, the *******s that make these want a good kicking themselves. I know what its like to be on the recieving end of bullying and it aint nice (got my own back when i learned how to box lol)

If your talkin bout the temp files on a computer then you need to dig alot deeper than that...

Every image/site you visit is logged on your computer in a list of "0"s and "1"s deep in the hard drive and just deleting the tempoary internet files will not remove the evidence.

It can all be recovered using special programes.

If you have come across something you should'nt or didnt mean to see then you can get a programme called "Evidence Eliminator" (amongst others) which completely clears your harddrive and re-writes all the codes as a list of "0"s.

This process takes for ever but it does work.

It also speeds up your computer as it also removes all unused data and some spyware programmes that lurk in your pc.

Either that or I'll just fill the drive with lots of copies of music, videos or some-such. Then delete them all. It has the same effect of reusing the space currently occupied by deleted naughty stuff. Just more manual intervention needed.

Do a Defrag thats all ya need to kill the files after the headers have been binned

craig-s - a defrag will only rearrange files into contiguous chunks. If it doesn't need to access previously used areas of the disk for it's temporary movements, then it wont clear them out. That's why you have to physically overwrite the previously used areas with something.
