I've just tried to order a pair of Cobra seats to go in the Z, but they won't fit.

Does anyone know of any others that might.

why'd you want to get rid of such good seats already?

 

I mean the Z comes with beautiful leather seats comfortable as hell

What about sparco, they have some nice stuff.

Try looking at Recaro seats, they are a few quid more than Cobra etc but the quality of them are class. I think the Recaro SR is their budget one, but it still looks brilliant (about £300 each I think)

I need a bit more support than the standard seats give (I full out round corners).

 

I went to halfords and they contacted the manufactures, I might give sparco a ring later myself.

If you look at the 99 spec it has Recaro seats fitted as standard. i think they are Recaro SRs available from demon tweeks etc. Check it out. You'll need to fabricate some new runners or maybe the 99 spec ones will fit. I can't believe the std Z runners would fit - lifes not that simple.

Try motordrive seats, good quality, used for clubman racing in a lot of categories, they have kevlar - carbon - fibreglass, whatever you want. Peter Lloyd Racin / Ralllying (cant remember which) has these.

The Recaros are SR in the late model, as fitted to Mitsubishi Evos, find one at a breakers or find one who is setting up for clubman racing and buy them.

You can beat proper racing seats for support.

Sparco Pro Evo seats are good quality, and have runners that fit most cars and also do a 'universal' runner, available at demon tweeks.
