Just noticed that my fuel filter is the wrong way round!!! :slap: The end that says out is receiving fuel from the tank......

 

Its been like this for about a year now, will/would it make any difference?

 

Flow rates? Etc.....

    it wont help.

     

    it will probably effect the flow rate and filtering slightly.

    Just remember that if you turn it round, you will be pushing all the stuff that has been filtered out of your fuel into your injectors, best to replace :)

    Ah, well in that case a new fuel filter is going on this weekend.....

     

    FYI - filled my car with BP's super unleaded last night, cost £59.97!!!! The most my zed has ever taken!! £60......hmmmm......must have been right empty! :) I've got a dodgy fuel gauge at the mo....

    remember bp is the most expensive garage to buy fuel...

    at my local shell i get optimax for 87.9p a litre were as my local bp super is 94.9p its allot of money if u fill right up for what u paid i would get approx 6 litre more from shell then bp the :xxx: LOL

    IIRC most on here avoid the BP ultimate like the plague...it was a lumpy old run when i used it once...kept it optimax ever since or esso supreme if no shell about

    Hmm, I'll remember that next time I fill up, I'll give Esso a go. No shell garage anywhere near me.... :(
