Have you noticed much difference in your temp guage over the hot weekend ?? Did it rise much or did u not notice any difference ??

Featured Replies

mine didn't move much at all,it seemed abit lower infact when driving due to me gutting the stuff behind the intercoolers

mine on the blitz r vit reading rised from the 176c to max of 195c when struck in traffic, but my gauge in the zed didn't move one bit

Stock gauge, did'nt move. Aftermarket went up from an typical average of 76 degrees, to 83 degrees over this weekend (on motorway) but perfectly acceptable still.

Stock guage and didn't move a muscle from normal! I was bloody hot though, targas off, 100mph and it was like a hairdryer blowing in your face!! Still nice though!

Stock gauge is completly and utterly useless.

Hear it far too often on these cars...car seriously overheating, and stock gauge says its running normally.

be warned : fit aftermarket temp gauge !

no problem with temps but charge temp to the turbos instead of getting 13psi i was making 11psi which made the dynos look crap to hot for turbo driving

Mine's a stock J-spec so I was a bit concerned, but it didn't go anywhere above where it normally does... that said I wasn't sitting in near-stationary traffic for long periods, which I think would be the real test.

stock temp gauge didnt move. but the datascan software read 89 to 93 over the weekend. that was in town traffic

I only have the stock guage but it didn't get past half way, even at 120 mph.

It has been over that - when I had a leaky water pump and poncy little front hoses it would go up past 3/4 when stuck in traffic on a hot day.

Now they have been fixed it normally runs under 1/2 but never goes above it.

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

As above sat at middle but i was shocked because mine normally smokes from left hand bank when stuck in traffic and i sat in 25 mins of cars getting into santa pod and nothing not a whisp even when i floored it after the gates..... dont ya just love zeds... keep you guessing all the fookin time !!! :smash:

Only got a stock gauge and (surprise!) it sat happily in the middle. Spent a lot of time stationary on the M25 too, without suncream  After about an hour (had moved a bit by then :D ) the fan decided to come on, but that was the only change to the norm!

Quietly chuffed :)

I have the stock guage fitted but on a conzult sat at the pod in the heat I couldn't make it read oner 81C. Is that good?

Ivan

Mine is similar. Idling in 37 degrees of heat in belgium temp never went over 80 on conzult.

But tripple figures on the Autobahns raised it to high 80's....reaching 90 at one point
