OK - I have had a water leak (Not radiator) for about a week, its not a big leak - I lose about a pint every 24 hours! I have replaced the two front engine short water pipes, the thermostat, the radiator cap and I have two more pipes to fit in the current kit - Water Hose Outlet, and Water Hose Inlet!

Dont laugh... I CANT SEEM TO FIND THEM????? I assume they are attached to the heater matrix somewhere but have no idea.....

Any heads-up appreciated!

Also today for the first time I actually seem some water drip from my car - but right down underneath just under the drivers door handle almost! I jacked her up and it seems the water may be running down the chassis member/rail and dripping out at the lowest point -s a clue to the source???

Cheers guys (and girl) :smash:

i had a leak that i couldnt identify the source, it would dry up before it dripped, i could smell the antifreeze evaporating tho. in the end the hose let go altogether and i saw drips coming from the bell housing. turned out to be the 3" 6mm id hose at the back of the engine going to the turbos. was a nightmare to change.

If its the heater inlet and outlet hose they areat the back of the engine.

I had these done on mine a while back. The easiest way to get to them is

take the battery out then you should be able to reach them. They fit onto two

metal pipes which bolt onto the engine, its worth looking at these as mine were rotted a bit. Hope this helps

I have since discovered that water is coming in to the car - above where the clutch pedel would be if I had one (AT) !!! And this is pretty much directly below where the drivers side heater (water inlet) pipe is right? So I am feeling confident that we have tracked it down!

If anyone can confirm/advise that would be great! I hope it doeasan't mean the heater matrix is leaking - that would be on the passenger side right?!

Thanks guys.
