hi peeps

i need to get my tracking sorted as i am eating rubber on the inside edge.

can someone pls tell me what the correct "toe" settings front and rear are on 17" rims?????

thanks

to correct the camber you need either a shim kit like (cheap) harve did in a GB last year or adjustable front upper camber arms (expensive).

there are no specific settings for toe u just want them pointing as straight as possible (set up using laser alignment for best result)

surely there must be factory settings???????

yeh as straight as possible, but u cnt alter it accurately enough without the right equipment (4 wheel laser allignment)

any ideas on cost of the laser alignment??

varies but its pretty expensive, your looking at around £20 a corner, depends on how much they need to do

Andy you are indeed a Legend in your own Lunchtime!!!

Thanks bud, will see if correcting the toe angle helps, if not I will have to see about laser alignment in Cheltenham or Gloucester

fingers crossed

Remember if you have non-standard alloys, the toe figures in mm will be wrong. They'll need to either correct them or work in degrees. The last place I tried didn't know the difference!! Needless to say I left at that point ....

thanks for the replies, got her laser checked today and the only wheel that was ok was the front drivers side!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know where you can get the camber kits from??

Just had my car on a ramp and the inside edges of the front tyres are through to the wire! :-(

My car is lowered mega on tein adj suspension and my br ( mechanic) told me that the racking isnt really out cause the cars fine to drive and that it may be caused by the car being so low! I have 19s so tyres are too expensive and I need to correct this asap! Has anyone came over this sounds similar to speed freaks problem! Please help!

any idea hoaw much mate? what if I raise the car should this help?
