Issue 2 of jtuner has just landed on my doormat, and a quick browse through reveals.........no zeds :mad:

WTF, there's enough of us about to at least get a small piccy but no - it's all Skylarks, Poopras and Scoobs (some nice RX7's tho ;)). There's a feature on Jap Fest, but not a sniff :(

I got sent a copy of that too, well it was addressed to Chunk but he used the club address (LOL).

Has anyone e-mailed that bloke that runs it (Steve something) offering our services?

 

I'm sure he'd do one of those rolling road / Bruntingthorpe days on 300ZXs.

 

They're all lazy, journalists, and if we can offer 10-15 cars in one place at one time (his choice of time and venue, probably he'd want a week day!), he'd probably jump at the chance.

 

They may not be doing many articles far in advance as a new low-volume mag like this is a bit of a gamble and could get the plug pulled after 6-12 months depending on how well it sells.

why do they keep featuring the same cars week in week out in these mags surely if your starting a mag you do soemthing difference..

 

IVE ALWAYS SAID THE PEOPLE WHO RUN THESE JOBS HAVE NOT GOT THE SLIGHTEST IDEA OR COMMON SENSE!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yet if someone appiled for the job and laid down a laod of good ideas theyd probably still gove the job to the person who s got a OBE in media studies.

It's a pitty they did not feature any zed's. It seems that jap car mags mainly feature skylines, supras and scooby's hence the reason I never buy jap car mags. I'm sure they must be missing out on a large part of the market by not getting a more balanced car range. We need more zeds in them, and its not for lack of highly modded zeds weather it be engine or body so there is no excuse.

I think that Rich is taking steps to contact a couple of the specialist mags (including JTuner) to get a feature sorted. I'm sure he'll give everyone an update when he has some news :cool:

ok, the reason they feature Skylines, Subarus and Supras is because they are most popular and therefore make more sales aka mahoney. :x:
