I know this has been asked before and I've just been going through a search, but which oil would people recommend?

My turbos are only 6 months old and my car has done 65k. It's a daily driver and is in desperate need of an oil change?

Cheers

Fully synthetic is recommended by most.

Castrol RS was what I used.

I use Mobil 1 in the TreVoR but it's generally considered a bit on the thin side for the Z. They do another version (I think they call it Rally or Rallysport but someone will no doubt know) which is something like a 15W50 which is considered to be good for the Z.

I have used Mobil 1 0/40, Castrol RS 0/40, Halfords 10/40 and Redline 10/30.

Got no lifter tick with any - all good oils tho the Redline is what I like to feed the Batmobile.

Call Delta Oils Europe for some on 01476 861195.

Recommended.

:)

Either mobil 1 Motorsport 15w50

or Agip Racing 10w60

both are great for All turbo Engines, and are (obviously) fully synthetic oils.

Selenia do a great oil, cant remember the name, think its called 20k, comes in a great looking tin as well.

Shell Helix, fully synthetic.

Good stuff, and doesnt go thin.

Had an old R21 turbo, which was filled with Mobil 1. It eat the lot!! Used Helix, and no problems.

So used the same in the Z and no loss of oil so far.

Leigh.
