Before my manager took his holiday i pre-warned him what he was going to be coming back to :D

Anyway.

The power button is now in a envelope in reception with his name and the company address on which he will recieve first thing.

i have filled the desktop with icons then opened loads of windows (pretty standered trick) but i added loads of windows to the start up folder so when he turns it on they will all pop up all 100 of them along with some internet home pages which have been set to something rather hard to the eye :D

Also changed his icons around so when opening my computer my documents will open.

I've got our Health and Safty lady on standby, for his return as i may suffer a beating :wack: :D

Oh and adding one of my sayings as a start up tone rather loud. lol he will love it.

make a batch file and stick it in startup.... find out the computer name (right click on my computer then computer name) and then enter this in notepad :

msg send computername then type your message here and it will pop up in a box. Paste the same line about 5000 times and he will spend his fist day back clicking "ok". save the file as a .bat file and dump it instartup :D

That sounds great i'll now give it a go :D

Chris he will love it, something he would exspect from me, but just think what i'll be coming back to after KOE, last time he had hidden my phone in my case, took me hours to find it.

Take s screen grab of his desktop with all his icons,

Move his icons to a safe directroy, and then put the screen grab of his desktop as his wall paper.

For some reason none of his icons on his desk top will work :D :D

That's one of my favourites!

Did that trick quite a few times to the apprentice I had a few years ago - shocking that he fell for it every time!

yea I had that done to me before, he wont fall for that as it was him who done it. Rinena

That reminds me made some ice lollies with ferry liquid over the weekend told dad there is some Lemon and Lime ice lollies in the freezer, don't think he has had it i will soon know. :D

pour some Ribena into the keyboard!

go to the computer pick it up and throw it out the window. I bet that and the ribena will do the trick. Not as much fun but what an impact on the boss..(and the car park) LOL...... :duffer:

Move all the letters around on his keyboard....

he will spot it pretty quick, but he will also spent a while putting the buggers back, also a good idea, on the day he comes back, to swap a few on the keyboard next to him, as he will no doubt copy the layout

Whenever i go away and come back, i never even bother turning my pc on. I just walk upto another one and swap em over. 80% of the time its a good job too! :xxx: at work always **** with my pc.

Might be cos I once stripped all the internalls out of all the IT pc's while they were on a training day and left loads of clues for them to find all the bits :D Took em two weeks to recover everything!

I like the matchheads in the floppy disk drive scenario. Has to be the red ones though obviously .. does go well. Just make sure there is a extinguisher nearby ... just in case :-)
