Can anyone tell me what oil pressure should be please? My gauge reads: '0' '4' '8' Thanks

 

 

Oil pressure was an optional extra on the TTs, so dont worrie if your needle dosent move :p

 

Normaly 6 on cold and approx 4 when warm and then 0 when flat out ;)

Car is NA

mine too! when i start up it sits around 4.then calms down after warming up.

Mine is NA and healthy.

Needle points stright down (ie half way) when cold and just started.

 

When warm and idling it drops to about a quarter of the way across but goes up to half way when driving reasonably hard.

Thanks guys, reason I asked is mine dropped a bit the other day but seems ok again now. Just under the '4' halfway when cold, just under the 1/4 line which I presume is 2 when warm at idle and when driving (at about 3000 revs) sits about halfway between the '2' and the '4' marks.
