Ive been flicking through auto trader, ebay etc etc and cant help but notice thats zeds are still going for pennies, and to quote max power, 'with a price tag as low as £2k, the 300zx makes sense'.

If i really had to sell my zed I would advertise it for something around £5k - £6k, even though it is an NA!

If you guys had to sell, how would you value your zed?

Oh, and its been ages since ive posted a poll. :p

I wouldn't sell it for any less. It doesn't have any bodykit either but I know it is a sound car.

I'm a firm believer that a car is worth whatever one person is willing to pay for it... It's all about the right place, right time and having lots of patience.

I paid £4500 and so valued it between £4001 and £5000. But thats easy to say because I am not going to sell it. To me tho' its priceless. I could sell and but another but its exactly what I always wanted so no point. Just a few mods and to me it will be....................

PRICELESS

I'm not going to bother selling it just going to break it for bits when the time comes

im £15k+ .. would cost me that to buy something else that i would get as much pleasure from.

:D Is the 7th option supposed to be £10,000-15,000......;)

Around 7k!...............who are the 2 people who has clicked 15k plus [i guess sarg is one]

Over here if I put it on the market probably 8,000 euro. In the Uk I would hope £4,500. It's a strange market. Younger guys with cash want skylines and Evo's, and with the popularity of drifting anything rear wheel drive has gone up in value, but the 300zx remains anonymous and exclusive which suits me!

Doh! I'll take a :slap: for that

The whole point of this thread is to see what you (personally) value you own Z at FFS ..

It ain't rocket science guys ...

I've got over £20k of receipts FWIW ;) Guessing I'd be lucky to get £8-9k on the open market though :( (not that I'd sell so low)

Not qiute mate £240 short of £15k........:( thats with buying the car aswell,

I could see who voted for what.

Now I voted and I can't see.Does anyone else have this problem?

And if someone offered me £9.5K for my Z I'd sell it... maybe for a bit less even.

Try clicking one of the numbers at the far right of the poll with an underline... ;)

Rapidly spending money on it faster than I can earn it.

Bought for £3.5K and will have spent over £4k on it by the time Baggins has finished putting all the bits back in the right places.

The engine will be almost fully rebuilt by then, but I don't think I could get more than around £5k for it.

Sometimes the exclusivity is nice, I just wish those damned Saxo boys would be more willing to throw their pocket money about and bring the price of zeds up in line with Supras and Evos.

by the end of summer il have spent enough to never ever sell the car (unless i got offered close to how much i'd spent)

............If I filled mine up with petrol, it would double it's monitary value ;) even though i still couldn't actually drive it anywhere.. LOL still needs the gearbox building :)

A few months ago firebond (my ins' company) had an assesor value my Z at £8500.

So I guess 8.5k.
