Got one! Well pleased, was worth the wait and looking around. 1995 on an M plate with 68k on the clock. Drove it home from Manchester and she drives like a dream. Everything nice and tight and no rattles, everything seems to work fine. Temp stayed just halfway, and oil prressure just under halfway. No service history, so going to get cambelt service etc done and put some good oil in.

Thanks to all who gave me advice etc. Nice one guys.

Have put pic in 'Rides' Was the photo I saw in the advertisement

Got it booked in Sat 25th. I take it you must work there Greg, can I wait for the car? I know it is a good few hours job, but would take me ages to get home and back. Also I may be able to watch the job being done which would start to give me some 'experience' . I wouldn't get in the way! Am a mechanic by trade, trained in the days of 1600E's etc :) never worked on anything like this.

p.s. I could make the tea or hand the spanners out :)

Nice one Steve, and you sure don't see many '95 300's around. Looks very clean and unmodified which is perfect for you're first Zed.

Happy motoring!

Congratulations, and welcome.

I'll keep my eye out next time I'm in Carterton (I do some work there for Persimmon Homes ;))
