SWB propshafts?

Hi guys im about to do a manual conversion on my SWB

Surely the 2+2 propshaft is longer so can i just change the front UJ for a manual one?

If anyones done this and can give us some advice pray tell

    Steve,

    Done a swb a couple of weeks ago and as you said just split the prop and use the front section from the donor manual box and the original rear section from the auto.

     

    PS. Having done like 15 conversions I strongly reccomend you do not fit the alternator loom from the manaul as someone mentioned in another post just cut and splice the auto to the manual, much quicker and simpler
