Big brakes - Give ME the facts ;)

Guys

Freed up some cash for the next 3 months so I have a grand to spend on new improved brakes, I am thinking I am gonna need them when this new chip arrives! ;) This is on top of the bodykit and spray work being done...

But,

If poss I would like to spend the £1K on brakes and better intercoolers (Side mount)...I can move on the £1K to allow for slightly higer prices....

So what traders/companies offer better braking systems for the Zed for reasonable cash?

Prices & Specs if available.... ;)

TA.

As far as brakes go, the Skyline GTR Brembo 4 pot set up is very good for the money (second hand about £500 or less for the calipers). You can spend much more on an AP/Tarox etc. set-up but that won't leave you with any money for the coolers (in fact you'll have to kick in extra!). DBA discs are a better priced option (I've read good recommendations about them on GTROC) coupled with some Ferodo DS2500 pads (highly recommended). And guess what? That's my brake set-up! :D Seriously though mate, on your budget I'd definately consider it.
