Another before and after front bumper: What do you reckon folks?

Still thinking about remodelling my already remodelled 99 spec front end! I'd have to relocate the fogs somewhere, probably in the vents either side (and also replace them with a different type). What do you reckon folks...I think I like the change myself :)

Before (although the badge and the washer jets are now gone!)

Looks nice idea:hyper:

Why dont you psp in some fogs and see what it looks like....

Will they not affect the air flow to the intercoolers? :nelson:

I prefer the before but, it,s all down to personal taste i suppose , still looks good though Leigh

By the way Great Journal

They both look good but I prefer the before a little more.

The after is a bit like a wide-mouthed frog!

Mike...

As you know Leigh, I was thinking of putting some round fog's where you have smoothed over - think that will look great. Not too sure about that area just being plain tbh. I have a feeling it may just look like there "was" something there at one point, if you know what I mean.

mmmmm big mouth!

It reminds me of spot the difference games we used to play as kids - only they used to tell us how many to look for!

I like the absence of the Z badge on the panel, but prefer it the original fogs in place.

There, that's 2p from me :D

Why are so many people embarassed about the Nissan or Z badge?

Er...whoever said I was embarrassed about it? If you take the time to read my Journal you'll know that one of my aims is to go for a very smooth look for the exterior hence de-locking, de-handling, removing swage lines, the filler cap, aeriel, spoiler, rear wiper, side repeaters and washer jets and smoothing them over. Taking off the badge was a natural progression.

Leigh I think the smoothed over area where the fogs should be is the dogs bollairicks, but i'd change the leading edge of the indicator more inkeeping with the leading edge of the IC scoop. Or just open the IC scoop up so it follows the upper edge of the main rad scoop. Then have your indicators under the top lip with a black affect glass so as to conceal them.

I must admit I like the second one, has a more agrressive look and less fussy :)

Couldnt of put it better myself!

i like the before and the after looks sleek however you look at it

I go with this opinion too - keep the before

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

or perhaps fit some fogs verticaly like this ..excuse the PC art work i only have basic PC and no paintshop pro ....but i think you get the idea ....

i think you should leave it as it is tbh, the second one looks pretty ugly
