I watched Jeremy Clarkson's top 100 cars over the weekend. The tit had put the 300zx at number "94"!!!. Just a picture they showed of it and he said; "despite it's girth and soggy suspension I had to include the nissan 300zx because it was such a superb car to drive"!!!. A few consolations though, he had the ferarri 360 and porsche 911 behind it, and the supra was not even included. I like Clarkson but his videos seem to be getting worse!!!!

 

Take my advice borrow it but don't buy it!!

I bought the DVD last week @ bloody £19.99 just coz I had a sneaky suspicion that the 300zx would make an appearance, had I not got bogged down helping my dad move house again instead of meeting you for a pint, you could have told me it came in at 94, thus saving me the sum of £19.99.

Sorry Glen LMAO!!!. it's not all bad. there is some good bits in it. I am just glad our cars got a mention. Lots of other didn't that I would have thought he would have included. We can meet up next weekend sometime if you want M8. Give me a call.

 

BTW Did top gear ever do a review of the 300, or is there any other videos that feature it???. I have never sen any!!

I remember seeing it once - years ago when he was talking about the death of the sports car due to pollution...The Cosworth was in there and a few others, including the 300zx. He reckoned it needed another 2 cats or something daft and it just wouldnt be the same after that....Never seen it since though!

I must say even though he probably has a lot of BHP his times on the 1/4 Mile weren't that impressive. I know he has problems with traction.

 

Can you believe some cars have high rolling road results but are pooh on the road : I bet mine and yours Warren are rubbish on the road, way too high a result on the Rolling Road to be street useable.
