About time we had another meet down here.

 

Had one a few months back, weather was not good and only three turned up!

 

Well, weather still awful, but should be improving soon???!!

 

seen a lot more zeds around recently so hope for a better turn out.

 

So even if not based down here , nice for a W/E hol.?

Ok, if there is anyone about this weekend I'll be down with the missus to see the family so can probably meet for a coffee or whatever. Think we're having a meal saturday arvo/evening but will be cruising about (look out for a red blur! :nono: )

Just thought Id let you know that the red zed was very nice in the Comet Carpark on Saturday, we were the tourist that bought a fridge for our campervan from your mate the one with the subaru, got quite good bhp so I was told!!!

Hi! Yeah he did say someone asked who owned the Z that was me!! His scooby is much slower though, recons it's 280BHP but really think it's 240Ish - its not a true WRX but a copy with the bog standard scooby engine! 300ZX rules everytime, that's why he's jelouse of us!! Nice one mate, I met RayDetinu from camborne in Saltash and drove down with him. Had a great drive, he'd just picked his car up. I saw him in a layby and thought I'd stop and see who it was, if it was someone off of here. Turned out to be Ray. I'll try and call you before going back to Plymouth and stop by. Dave

Hi mate, glad your Z'eds sorted now! Yeah that was my Z on the rollers!! :) The output in the end was 333.0Bhp @ 6466 RPM and 302.6 lbft max torque @ 4625 RPM.. Be good to have a meet soon then I can show everyone the dyno plots! Still waiting to get my bonnet vents done so hopefully gonna get that done either this weekend or next weekend so be good to arrange a meet when we can get all the Cornwall crowd together that don't always live down here!! Sounds like a great idea. Will be date dependent as I've got stacks on at the moment what with leaving the Marines end of next month. Maybe down again next weekend, often about for the surf anyway in the evenings although I try to not use the Zed for that. Good dyno results Jon, look forward to seeing the car. Dave

My Zed is in the shop at the mo :wack: so I dont think I will be able to make a meeting in the next couple of weeks, but I will keep my eyes open for the next Kernow meet.

Count me in. Perranport is OK but a bit naff for keeping an eye on your Z whilst having a beer. How about the Fox and Hounds at Scorrier? Literally just off the A30 after the main roundabout and before the main Redruth turnoff. Ideal for those that are coming from further afield. Big car park and you can sit outside.

 

That said, your call mate and happy to go wherever.
